About the Owner
Formerly a CPA in both public accounting and industry, after Hurricane Katrina I decided to return to my true passion and Kat's Collection was born.
I hold professional certification as a Fashion Consultant by the Fashion Image Institute and have over ten years of multi-level retail and boutique ownership experience. I enjoy building relationships with clients and earning their trust by advising them on their wardrobe needs. I especially enjoy the challenges of wardrobing on a budget, swimsuit selection tailored to body type, selecting the best styles to camouflage figure flaws, and consulting on event-specific attire.
In my work as a wardrobe consultant & personal shopper, I enjoy shopping for clients at upscale stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and designer boutiques. However, women often enlist my services to assist them in building a wardrobe on a budget. Recognizing this need, I decided to open an online boutique where I could share a collection of affordable fashionable finds for a wide range age groups & personal tastes. In addition, I offer my personal styling services packaged at a variety of affordable price points. By doing this, I am able to help a client refine her image by developing a "Signature Style" to attain a polished, well-dressed and put-together appearance at any budget.
It is very rewarding to help someone refine her image and look her best - polished, put-together, and confident - and to hear about the compliments she's received!

The Merchandise
Items in the store are brand new contemporary fashions unless otherwise noted as pre-owned resale consignment clothing. Occasionally labels will be cut or marked through to prevent store returns, and if applicable this will be noted as well. Any pre-owned items for sale will be described as such and are in excellent condition.
Due to the nature of our business as a specialty online boutique, the items featured in our store are often limited in quantity and size selection - like any fabulous fashion find you may discover, grab it while it's available! But rest assured that we are always adding new and exciting pieces to our inventory. (Please note - we are not accepting online consignment items at this time.)

Regarding Sizing:
Since womens and juniors sizes vary so greatly depending on the manufacturer, we cannot provide a size chart that we feel would be accurate. Items are sized according to misses sizes unless otherwise noted. When items appear to run large or small, this will be noted in the item description as well. Please feel free to email us with any sizing questions or concerns on a specific item.

Our clients love a bargain but have the need and desire for unique, fashionable clothing, and appreciate the upscale shopping experience available through a personal wardrobe consultant or high-end boutique.
Through Signature Style Services, I help clients refine their image by assisting them in developing a Signature Style to suit their individual professional requirements, tastes, body type, and budget. Clients can choose from various packages to suit their individual needs, from dressing for a specific event to selecting an entire new wardrobe.
The online women's boutique offers new contemporary fashions, resale/consignment clothing, and discount women's fashions that are unique and stylish yet affordable, thereby saving the client from spending time and effort searching the racks at the discount, consignment or resale boutiques. Our typical client is a professional, so of course classic pieces are always incorporated into her wardrobe. However, she keeps up with current trends and also appreciates fashion forward, modern, edgy styles. Whether at the office, a fundraiser, or a cocktail party, she is always admired for looking effortlessly stylish.

Shipping Information:
Orders are shipped within 2 days unless otherwise specified, via US Priority Mail (2 - 3 days). Shipping is currently available only within the continental United States.
Refund and Exchange Policies:
If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly refund the purchase price minus a $6 restocking fee.
Simply return the item to us with all tags and product packaging, within 14 days of receipt and we will gladly give you an refund once the item is received at our store. Please mail your package in a prepaid, insured, traceable method. Shipping of returns back to our store is at the customer's expense and is non-refundable.
Any clothing item must be neatly folded and unwashed and unworn (except for trying it on), and must have all tags still attached. Please also include a copy of the packing slip/invoice.
For refunds, the credit card used for the original purchase will be credited.
Please note it takes 1-2 weeks to process returns and exchanges.
If product is returned without tags or product packaging or has been worn (except for trying it on), we will be unable to grant a refund. Customer will be contacted and product will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.
Please notify us of any claims for merchandise received damaged in transit within 3 days of receipt.
